compared to last week. Offerings were
about adequate to adequate for this week's
trade needs. Demand was moderate, how
ever buyers were keeping a close watch on
effects from the hot humid weather condi
tions. Trade sentiment at least steady.

Prices were unchanged following last
week's dramatic increases. The maiket
tone was steady to fully steady. Demand
was mixed, and centered on immediate
needs. Floor stocks of frozen products
were generally adequate. Shell egg offer
ings were more available at steady prices,
and the trade sentiment was steady to fully
steady. Most breakers limited shell purch
ases to tegular commitments and only ran
schedules for current orders.

wheat pits, today, due to carryover profit

taking and continued flow export ulei.
Com and soybean bids fell slightly on die
outlook for favorable growing weather in
the Midwest next week. Wheat 1 to 9 cents
lower. Com 1 to 3 cents lower. Sorghum 2
to 8 cents lower. Soybeans mixed. Wheat
bids extended Tuesday's losses as fund
selling continued for the second day.
Export demand for wheat has slowed
somewhat over the past couple of days and
indications Egypt may not buy more US
wheat for a while, added extra pressure.
Cooler weather and rainfall in Midwest
forecasts for next week, pushed com and
soybean bids slightly lower. Some strength
in beans was noted, however, on reports
China may be interested in buying US
beans.
