Crowned at a pageant held on June 10, at the Northern Bedford County High School, Jennifer is the daughter of Roger and Kath leen Brumbaugh. She is a senior at Tussey Mountain High School. Seven of the Brumbaugh cows belong to Jennifer. “My first was a Brown Swiss," Jennifer says. “She was a birthday present from my dad. She was also my show cow and I took a number of Reserve Junior Championships with her." Jennifer now has'four Brown Swiss, two red and whites, and one Holstein which she milks her self. She and her brother, Sam, 12, also help with other weak on the farm including unloading hay. Always busy, Jennifer is in volved in Russian Club, SADD, the National Honor Society, and Oddessey of the Mind at school. At the Stoners town Church of the Brethren, she is active in the church youth group and does some substitute Sunday School leaching. Her desire to be the Bedford County Dairy Princess is largely credited to Amy Mearkle, the 1993 Dairy Princess. “I was Dairy Maid that year and Amy had a great deal of influence on me,” Jennifer says. As die dairy princess she will be doing radio spots, new articles, school promotions, and will parti cipate in at least 10 parades.
