HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.)
Agriculture Secretary Charles
C. Brosius announced the Man
heim FFA has been awarded a
$15,000 matching grant and a
$2,500 direct giant through the de
partment’s Agriculture and Rural
Youth Organization Grant Pro
gram.
The matching grant will be used
to construct an environmental la
boratory for the FFA’s use at
Manheim Central High School.
The direct grant will be used to
purchase a video microscopy sys
tem for use in the agricultural cur
riculum at the school.
The Ecological Systems Labor
atory (ESL) will contain labora
tory facilities for the study of
