Whitling will spend the next two yean {wild ing up his dairy herd, and then if all goes well, he will begin to buy machinery from Hunt. Once the machinery is paid off, Whitling will have first option to buy the farm. An initiative of the Center for Rural Pennsyl vania, Farm Link received over 400 inquiry from people interested in starting to farm and over 75 from people, who want to retire from agriculture since its inception last summer. Hunt and Whitling are the first to make a deal to trans fer ownership.
