Prices were unchanged to higher in the
Northeast and Midwest, and elsewhere,
prices were unchanged. The market tone
was steady to firm. Demand was fair to
good, mostly moderate, and best where
featured and into resort areas. Supplies
were barely adequate to fully adequate, and
excess eggs were held with increased con
fidence. Breaking stock supplies were
adequate for the moderate demand, and
offerings were made with confidence at
higher prices.
