Brosius announced the Penn sylvania Council of Cooperatives has been awarded a $2,500 direct grant through the department’s Agriculture and Rural Youth Or ganization Grant Program. The grant will be used to pro vide partial scholarships for the Council’s Summer Youth Institute scheduled for June 25-28 at Ship pensburg University. Based in Altoona, the institute is a statewide program that selects and trains approximately 100 out standing rural youth annually, helping them develop an aware ness of the cooperative way of do ing business.
