Beat together vanilla pudding and ice cream. Line serving dish with cracker crumbs. Add ice cream mixture. Sprinkle a few crumbs on top; chill. Norma Bausher Myerstown CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP 1 cup water 10-ounce package broccoli or fresh head broccoli 3 cups milk 8-ounces processed cheese, cubed '/j cup flour '/> cup shredded carrots Croutons for garnish In large saucepan, cook broccoli in the water. Do not drain. Put milk, cheese cubes, and flour into blended container. Cover and puree. Add mixture to broccoli. Cook, stirring frequently over medium heat until hot and mixture thickens. Add carrots. Serve garn ished with croutons. (Hint: I like to cook in the microwave so I don’t have to be concerned about scorch ing. You still need to stir frequent ly when microwaving as the mix ture thickens. I am the mother of four children from 13 to 4 years old. Weallenjoy this recipe very much.
