Urge sizes in the Northeast and Midwest,
and the balance of prices were unchanged.
Hie market tone continued steady to firm.
Demand was fair to very good, best where
featured and where fast food promotions
were in progress. Supplies were usually
adequate or avail-ble with extra supplies
maintained with confidence. Breaking
stock supplies were adequate for the light
to moderate demand, and the undertone
was at least steady; prices were unchanged
to higher. Live hen offerings remained ful
ly adequate for the unaggressive demand.
