The SURGE COMMANDER 1.5 K vacuum

The other week my husband
and I finally took time-te-try out
his camper. We drove to a camp
ing ground in Snyder County and
paid for one night We were given
a spot surrounded by many, many
other campers. The only thing that
I liked about it was a nearby bab
bling brook.
. We went fishing in the evening
in Walker Lake and I not only
caught several pan fish but I got a
16-inch beautiful bass, which my
husband said that I must not keep
as it wasn’t in season. It was such'
a nice, big fish.

Then we stayed in our small
camper, about the size of my
kitchen, for a second night. W£
went fishing again and Allen
caught a 13-inch bass which we
returned to the lake. Probably
we’ll not be able to catch them in
June when the season opens.
One side trip was to “Wood
ward Cave” east of State College.
The Seneca Indians knew of this
cave and used it for religious cere
monies. It was opened to the pub
lic in 1925. The temperature re
mains at 48 degrees all year. Our

visit was unusual in that we toured
the cave with a big busload of
third graders. So, our trip through
was a noisy affair.
I’d never used a gas stove be
fore and have a lot to learn. Maybe
this way I can get my husband to
help with the cooking. In the
mornings the temperature dropped
to 50 degrees inside.
As it was a stressful drive from
Lancaster County, we discussed
leaving the camper for a year. Af
ter driving around the area, we
found a nice spot high above the
other campers with woods on
three sides. And, to think that we
planned to only stay for one night!
