cattle. Bulk supply was feeder cattle off
gr*Ze-out wheat. Conditions similar to last
week with average to full weigh-ups and
heavy flesh. Quality of cattle plain to aver
age, end attractive and considerably lest
desirable for buyers than last week. Liberal
supply of Brahma cross cattle back in the
consist. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower.
Slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand
fair to moderate for cows and bulls. Total
of 557 cows and bulls sold, including 30
percent replacements. Mott replacements
consisted of thin pairs off graze-out wheat.
Receipts this week 18,820; last week
9,114; last year 9,334. Supply consisted of
87 percent yearlings over 600 lbs; 10 per
cent calves and short yearlings under 600
lbs; 3 percent cows and bulls. Prices follow
with weighted average weight and price in
parenthesis.
