weights varied and were mostly desirable
to heavy. Processing schedules were very
heavy. Most plants planned to close or
reduce operations either Friday or Monday
in observance of the holiday. Less than
tmcklot asking prices were unchanged at
50 to 61 cents. In the parts complex, wings
continued to clear well. Bone-in breasts,
were irregularly available. Boneless skin
less breasts and leg quarters were available
and difficult to dear.

was no better than steady. Demand was

volumes for immediate needs. Frozen egg
floor stocks were at least adequate. Shell
egg offerings were adequate to fully

GLANCE:
Prices remained unchanged. Hie market
tone was steady at best. Cartoned egg
movement was fair to very good, mostly
good as holiday purchasing continued m
retail channels. Wholesale demand was
mixed and was fairly good into food ser
vice accounts, and light to instances good
into distribution channels depending on
whether accumulated floor stocks were
adequate for holiday needs. Supplies were
fully adequate to instances tight, mostly
adequate and available. Breaking stock
supplies remained adequate to fully adequ
ate for the light and unaggressive demand,
and prices were generally unchanged.

inquiry was slowing, particularly on bone
