MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birdi
was light and unaggreasive. Seller offer
ings were fully adequate to ample for
prompt delivery and remained generally
slow in clearing. Live supplies were mod
erate; weights remained mixed in a full
range of light to heavy. Processing sche
dules were reduced in some instances, but
still remained very heavy. Less than truck
lot asking prices were 1 cent lower at 45 to
56 cents. Trade sentiment was weak and
unsettled. In the parts complex, volumes
varied from plant to plant, but all items
were hilly sufficient to handle the limited
buying interest.
