SYRACUSE, N.Y.—Eastern Milk Producers Cooperative, based here, presented scholarships to IS college and technical school students recently as part of its con tinuing commitment to saving its members’ needs. The scholarships were offered to students whose families were Eastern members or the employ ees of Eastern members. Eastern offered IS scholarships, one in each of its districts, plus four more in areas with unusually high application rates or quality. Current college students were eligible to apply for the $5OO scholarships. The winners were: Matthew R. Close, Worcester, N.Y., a sophomore at Hartwick College, who is studying econom ics and environmental science. He is the son of Rich and Connie Mravlja. Sheri Marie Degon. Malone, N.Y., a junior at Cornell Universi ty majoring in Natural Resources. She also works as a lab assitant in the dairy nutrition lab. She is the daughter of Donald and Angela Degon.
