Acting' State Agriculture Secretary Charles C. Bro sius is inviting farmers who market their pro ducts directly to consumers to be included in a revised consumer’s guide to Pennsylvania farm markets. “Many people want to get agricultural pro ducts right from the producers, but they may not know where to And them,” Brosius said. “This booklet helps to make both residents and visitors aware of the many products that are available directly from our producers.” To be included in the directory, farmers who sell their products directly to consumers must complete an information sheet describ ing the farm and the types of products that are sold. Farmers listed in the current guide have already been contacted by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to obtain update information. Farmers who sell directly to consumers and are not listed in the current edition of the directory should contact the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Division of Commodity Promotions at (717) 787-5086 to have a form mailed to them.
