PaJDHIA Sets
Spring Conferences
UNIVERSITY PARK (Centre
Co.) It is time once again for
the Pa.DfflA technicians to meet
for their annual spring conference.
Each year Pa.DHIA holds three
seasonal sets of conferences
(spring, summer and fall) to furth
er update and educate each
technician.
Spring conference allows time
for each technician to interact and
to exchange ideas with each other.
as well as being able to interact
with the guests who attend each
meeting, such as extension agents
and artificial inseminator
personnel.
There are a total of 14 confer
ences held at different locations.
Each technician selects the appro
priate conference closest to his or
her area. This allows each group of
technicians to be relatively small,
which contributes to better interac
tion as well as being able to assist
in keeping traveling time at a mini
mum for most technicians.
This year’s conference promises
to be as exciting as ever with the
ability for each technician to give
their dairymen Westfalia Dairy
plan reports on test day.

cian has the opportunity to ask
quesitons or voice any concerns.
The topics of discussion during
the round-table forum are to
include the new Innovative Prog
ram, flexibility of programs, as
well as scheduling.
The highlight of the conference
is to be the introduction of the

allows the dairymen more flexibil

information.
A new update will be imple
