ers steady. Demand good for feeder cattle
at these levels. Demand good for limited
supply of stockers. Flesh conditions of
feeders medium to moderately fleshy, sev
eral fleshy. Feeders not as slick and carry
ing much more hair than last week and
generally in better quality wheat flesh
which would be somewhat in buyers favor.
Weigh conditions average to full, modest
end gaunt. Stockers in average to thin flesh
with increased supply of thin kind. Slaugh
ter cows 1.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls
1.00 lower. Packer demand moderate. Tot
al of 427 cows and bulls sold, with 65 per
cent to packers. Receipts this week 19,900;
last week 19,616; la:t year 15,952. Supply
consisted of 89 percent yearlings over 600
lbs; 9 percent calves and light yearlings
under 600 lbs.; 2 percent cows and bulls.
