Atlantic Breeders LANCASTER (Lancaster Co.) The Atlantic Breed ers Cooperative annually recognizes its members whose herds have produced at least 10 percent above the state average for the particular breed, while using at least two thirds of the herd progeny sired by semen produced by the cooperative. In an article published recently, the cooperative had announced that it was in the process of merging with two other similar sized artificial breeding cooperatives. This week, the cooperative’s production award winners are announced.
