delmarva broiler/fryer
MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birdi
was fait to moderate. Offerings were irre
gular and in fairly good balance. Light
weights and some reduction in production
was affecting overall availability. Live
supplies were generally moderate; weights
were mostly desirable to light. Processing
schedules were very heavy. Less than
tmcklot asking prices were unchanged at
47 to 58 cents. Trade sentiment was about
steady. Bone-in breasts were short of full
interest. Boneless skinless breasts were
available at some plants and were slow to
clear. Leg quarters slowed in some
instances but were well balanced in others.

Tmcklot buying interest was mixed.
Offerings were in close balance with breast
items in the tightest position. Dealers were
cautious as they attempted to assess the
current situation. Retail features coupled
with the reduced schedules had product in
a dose relationship with needs. Trade sen
timent remained cautious.
