GLANCE:
Prices were unchanged to higher for
brown mediums in Nt.w England, and
white mediums in the Midwest, and the
balance of prices V’ere unchanged. The
market tone was steady to instances firm.
Demand covered the full range, and was
best where fYXW9 Supplies of the large
sizes were generally adequate to fully
adequate or available, and mediums were
tight to adequate. Breaking stock supplies
were adequate for the spotty demand, and
the market tone was at least steady. Light
type hens were adequate to ample for the
light to fair demand, and the market tone
remained steady.

Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was generally moderate to slow. Seller
offerings ranged from adequate to fully
adequate. Live supplies were moderate,
with weights ranging desirable to light.
Processing schedules were very heavy.
Lets than trucklot asking prices were
unchanged at 47 to 58 cents. Trade senti
ment was about steady. In the parts com
ples, boneless skinless breast were readily
available and generally slow to clear.
Whole breast and leg quarters were adequ
ate to. tight Wings were adequate to fully
adequate.
