Other junior-aged finalists were
Emily Cloninger, of Centre Hall;
Jody, Crawford, of Rome; Adam
Raney, of Adamsville; and Jason
Turton, of Ulysses.
The six finalists were selected
fromafieldof 11 contestants, each
on the basis of a scrabook listing
their activities and involvement in
Holstein work, school, community
activities and leadership positions.
They were to have also completed
a story highlighting their work on
the home farm and tell about plans
for the future.
In the intermediate-age divi
sion, the distinguished junior
members were Joy Hess, daughter
of John and Bonnie Hess of Getty
burg, and Chris Connolly, son of
Ronald and Denise Connolly of
Pennsylvania Furnace.
The other finalists included Joe
Best, of Holtwood; Erica Davis,
Kutztown; Danielle Mummah,
Port Royal; and David Packard, of
Troy.
