Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was light to fair and generally below
expectations.
Offerings varied from fully adequate to
ample Live supplies were moderate;
weights were in a full range of light to
heavy Slaughter schedules were very
heavy. Less than trucklot asking prices
were unchanged at 47 to 58 and sellers
often removed premiums to stimulate
movement Trade sentiment was barely
steady. In the parts complex, bone-m
breasts were adequate to short. Boneless
skinless breast were fully adequate at most
plants Leg quarters were in good overall
balance Legs and drums were fully adequ
ate Wings were ample.
