Compared to last week; Feeder steers
over 800 lbs Sl.oo-52.00 lower, 700-800
lbs steady. Stocker steers and steer calves
Sl.OO-S2 00 higher. Feeder heifers and
heifer calves steady to SI.OO lower
Demand good for feeder cattle, very good
for Stockers and steer calves, rather light
for heifer calves. Price spread between
heavy feeders and light feeders is begin
ning to open up to a more normal price dif
ferential. This due to the inability to turn
the larger feeders as fats before May. The
month of May is pegged to the June CME
slaughter cattle contract. Quality of supply
average to attractive. Weigh-ups average
