Winners Named In Jr. Beef Breeding

breeding classes on Wednesday

In the Angus breed, Suzanne
Bishard, York County, had the
grand champion with South
Branch Princess 301. Bree Tag
gart, Green County, had the reserve
grand champion with WRL
Eldorene’s Jackie 406.
The Charolais show had only
three entries. Carl Detwiler, Bed
ford County, had the champion,
and Heather Slceman had the
reserve grand champion.
In the Limousin show, Ben
Stine, Adams County, had the
grand champion with FRBA BEth
2C. And Wendy Schinkovec from
Washington County had the
reserve champion with Black Vir
ginian 13C.
In the Hereford/Polled Hereford
show, Kristi Rooker, Fayette
County, had the champion with
KLR 610 Ronee 335. Curt Stock
dale, Armstrong County, had the
reserve champion with CS Miss
Deliver.
The champion in the Simment&l
breed was shown by Tom Ncw
pher, Bedes County, with K7K
Press Your Luck. The reserve
champion was shown by Keith
Carlisle, Washington County. The
name is pending.

lightweight champion for Curt

ty. The 17 year- old junior at Da ton
High School has had reserve
champions at the Farm Stow
before, but this was his first grand
champion. The champion weighed
1,220 pounds and was named
“Sugar.”
The reserve grand champion
was a Simmental from the “all
other purebreds” class for LaDon
na Miller, Bedford County. The
1,315-pound steer was named
