Demand for imme diate delivery was very light, and centered on less-than-trucklot volumes. First quarter inquiry was light, and many buyers had finalized commitments earlier this month. Floor stocks were adequate. Shell egg offerings were adequate. Liquid and frozen eggs processed under federal inspection in the Eastern region for the week ending December 24, 1994 were 10% less than last week, and 21% above the same week a year ago.
