recreation committee, the membership and
development committee, and the banquet
committee.
He is the chapter president and has also
served as sentinel and chaplain. In the
future, Loren has his sights set on farming
but also likes to work in the heating and air
conditioning business.
Stephen Yarmush
Stephen Yarmush, 19, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley Yarmush, Elverson, Berks
County, is a four-year member of Twin
Valley FFA Chapter at Twin Valley High
School.
Stephen has been active at the Kutztown
and Reading Fairs in livestock judging and
exhibits. He has been in the dairy foods,
meats, and wildlife contests, the Berks
County Envirothon, the American Agri
culture Day Breakfast, and Food for
America programs. He participated in
Delaware Valley Collegiate FFA Day and
received the Agriculture Processing
Foundation Medal. He was in the county
and state record book contests and placed
second in the mini-exhibit at Reading Fair.
In the future he plans to work for several
years and then attend Penn State.

burg High School.
Richards’s pro
jects include swine
finishing (three years), Ringneck Pheas
ants (four years), turkey production (four
years), Christmas trees (four years), and
practicum skills (four years). He has parti
cipated in state and national activities on
executive committees and has conducted
meetings. Food for America and scholar
ship committees are also included in his
experience. He has been chapter vice pres
ident and was on the state Farm Show
demonstration team and the state par
liamentary procedure contest.
In the future he plans to work as a full
time machinist.

18, daughter of

caster County is a
four-year member
of the Grassland
FFA Chapter at
Garden Spot High
School.
Connie’s activi
ties include market lamb projects and work
experience at Yoders Country Market and
Goods Greenhouse. She was the chair for
the recreation, leadership, and conduct of
meetings committees. She has served as
chapter president, vice president, and stu
dent adviser. She received the Greenhand,
Chapter, and Red Rose degrees. In par
limentary procedure, she has a national
silver award and won in both senior and
junior prepared public speaking.
In the future she wants to be involved in
early childhood education.
