has served as chap
ter and
secretary, and SUN
Area vice president. Jeremy has also
served as chair of the chapter’s executive
and officer nominations committees, and
as a member of the leadership and scholar
ship committees. His FFA projects include
three years’ work experience on a dairy
farm, in addition to four years’ beef pro
duction and practicum skills. A recipient
of the SUN Area degree, he has also parti
cipated at the state level with project book
contests, and parliamentary procedure. He
said he plans to pursue a pre-med college
degree.

treasurer. He has
received his chapter
greenhand and farmer degrees, and the
county, Red Rose degree. His projects
have involved steer, hog and heifer pro
duction, and he has attended FFA activities
at Penn State three times, and went to
nationals at Kansas City once. He won
awards at the state level for horse judging
and said that he plans to work on a combine
crew, and then farm production with steers
or horses.

jects have involved heep finishing and
swine production, and she has served on
the chapter’s citrus sales committee. She
said she intends to pursue a college degree,
and would eventually enjoy a career as a
rancher.
Larry Medaglia
Larry Medaglia, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Laurence Medalgia, of Honey Brook, has
been a member of the Twin Valley FFA
chapter for four years serving as president,
and also as county chaplain. He has partici
pated in a number of contests, such as the
dairy and livestock judging contests at the
Kutztown and Allentown fairs, and com
peting in the SJE. Pa. Wildlife Contest. He
also exhibited horticultural entries at the
state Farm Show, competed in his county
envirothon, the state wildlife contest, and
the S.E. Pa. Aquatic Resource Contest. He
has been active also in helping with border
cutting for the Pa. Game Commission,
with his Ag Day breakfast, tree planting,
the Tel-Hai Pet Therapy programs, the
Hay Creek Fall and Apple festivals, and he
has served as chairman of his chapter’s
calendar sales committee. Larry has
received awards in many of the competi
tions he entered and for his record books.
He said he plans to run for state FFA office
and then pursue a college degree in
horticulture.
