GLANCE:
Price* were unchanged. The market tone
was mostly steady. Demand was fair to
instances very good, mostly moderate to
fairly good. Supplies in the South were
adequate to barely adequate, elsewhere,
supplies were adequate or available.
Breaking stock supplies were adequate to
fully adequate for the unaggressive
demand. Prices were unchanged, and the
un2ertone was about steady to weak. Live
hen offerings were adequate to ample for
the very light to moderate demand, and the
undertone was steady.

Prices were generally lower. The market
tone was barely steady to weak. Demand
for current delivery was light, and inquiiy
for 1995 was fair. Finished product inven
tories were adequate. Shell egg supplies
were also adequate, and most plants
planned reduced schedules through the end
of the year. Liquid and frozen eggs pro
cessed under federal inspection in the East
ern region for the week ending December
17, 1994 were 6% less than last week, and
18% above the same week last year.
