Compared to lift week: Feeder iteen
steady to $2.00 higher. Feeder heifers and
ail calves steady. Demand good for feeder
cattle and calves with very good demand
for feeder steers over 800 lbs.. Quality of
supply avenge thin attractive. Weigh con
ditions gaunt to mostly avenge. Feeder
flesh varied from slightly thin thru mod
erately fleshy with bulk in medium flesh
off wheat. Calves continue in average to
mostly thin condition. Slaughter cows
51.00- higher. Slaughter bulls $l.OO
higher. Demand good for slaughter and
replacement cows as markets come to a
close for holidays. 379 cows and bulls sold
with 70 percent to packers. Bright and tun
ny over most Oklahoma wheat with temp
enatures in mid 50's to low 60's this week.
Nights above to barely below freezing.
Conditions conducive to further wheat
growth. Receipts this week 6,788; last
week 7,875; last year 3,048. Supply con
sisted of 60 percent yearlings over 6001b5.;
34 percent calves under 600 lbs.; 6 percent
cows and bulls. Prices follow with weight
ed average weight and price in parenthesis.
