was generally fair to instances fairly good.
Live supplies were moderate; weights were
in a full range, but trending more on the
desirable side than early week. Processing
schedules were very heavy. Less than
trucklot asking prices were higher at 48 to
59 cents. Trade sentiment was steady to
instances fully steady. Breast items were in
close balance. Leg items and wings were
steady to fully steadt.

Prices were unchanged to higher on
mediums in the Midwest and the Mid-
Atlantic area, unchanged elsewhere. The
market tone was steady to firm, mostly
steady to fully steady. Demand was mostly
moderate to good, best where features were
in progress or planned. Supplies of the
large sizes were adequate or available, and
mediums were adequate to light. Breaking
stock supplies were adequate to instances
barely adequate for the mixed but mostly
moderate demand, and prices trended high
er. Live hen offerings were at least fully
adequate for the limited interest, and the
undertone was generally steady.
