SUMMARY
Compered to list Monday; Feeder steers
and heifers steady to $2.00 higher.
Demand very good for yearlings. Large
portion of yearling supply was off early
wheat in slight to moderate flesh condition.
Calves weak to $3.00 lower. Demand mod
erate for calves. Calf demand dampened
some as cool wet weather was in forecast.
Alto several farmers thought to be out of
market as they have calf supply in hand for
this portion of the wheat grazing season.
Weigh conditions gaunt to mostly average.
Quality plain to average, end attractive.
Slaughter cows SI.SO-S2.SO lower.
Slaughter bulls steady. Demand from
packers light to moderate. Good demand
from replacement buyers and wheat graz
ers. 68S cows and bulls sold with 60 per
cent to packers. Wheat grazing conditions
are excellent At this point in time harsh
