Moldboard*. An Important factor In the performance of RHINO
blades Is the precision-formed moldboard with the exact curva
ture nocessary to achieve maximum penetration. This added
predsicn allows RHINO blades to cut and roll the soil rather
than diagglng, which saves time, horsepower, and fuel.
Tho 1 540 with 8' moldboard is available for tractors rated to 190
PTO HP and with 10' moldboard for tractors rated to 160 PTO
HP.
The Rhino 900 and 950 b<ades are both available to be
equipped with several sizes of moldboard* for your specific Job
requirements. For tractors rated to 125 PTO HP, the 900 end
950 are available with a 7' or 8' moldboard. For those with trac
tors rated to 95 PTO HP, a 7', B', or 9' moldboard Is available.
Ihe cutting edge* of all RHINO blade* are % ”x 6" high-carbon
steel, grader cutting edges. The cutting edges have off-center
countersunk bolt holes which give you full life of the blade with
out wearing Into the moldboard, and you don't have to reverse
the cutting edge in order to gain maximum Ilf*. Unlike some
center-punched blades, the off-center punch enable* die cut
ting edge to assume the same curvature as the moldboard,
allowing a free upward flow of dirt. This unrestricted flow pro
duces less drag, with better fuel economy. That Is, the din
slides upward and breaks at the top of the moldboard.
The Rhino cutting edge Is the same as used on many motor
graders. RHINO blades are designed with the strength, rug
gedness, and movements to do many jobs of a motor grader
quickly and easily You will be proud of the volume of material
that you can move with your tractor and a RHINO blade.
