DELMARVA BROILER/FRYER
MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE
Movement of teady-to-cook whole birds
was mixed and irregular and below expec
tations at several plants. Offerings ranged
fully adequate to ample and were generally
slow in clearing. Live supplies were mostly
moderate; weights varied in a full range of
light to heavy. Processing schedules were
very heavy. Less than tracklot asking
prices were unchanged at 47 to 58 cents.
Trade sentiment was no better than steady.
In the parts complex, supplies were at least
adequate on all but wings which were
adequate to well cleared. Boneless skinless
breasts were readily available. Bone-m
breasts were irregularly balanced.
