Ayrshire Breeden Association has
announced that it has registered its
one-millionth animal.
According to a recent news
release, a June calf registered Nov.
11 became the 1,000,000 Ayrshire
to be entered in the books of the
national dairy cattle breed registry
association.
Covey-Farms Magnet Rod,
owned by Stanley Covey, of
Locust Grove, Qkla., is a home
bred animal out of Covey-Farms
Ronnie (number 982054) and
Covey-Farms Olympic Magnet
(number 145356).
The achievement is a milepost
for the 124-year-old association,
according to Rob Schrull, general
manager.
