The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) has targeted Chester County for the Chem sweep program this coming year, but, before Dec. 31, 1994, farmers must fill out an inventory sheet that was mailed in October. ' The best part of this program is that it is FREE,-funded by registra tion fees collected from chemical companies. The purpose of the program is to legally and safely remove cer tain pesticides from farms before they cause environmental prob lems. A PDA official will visit your farm to verify your submitted inventory list and to sample any unknown products. A LESSON WELL LEARNED... LANCASTER FARMING'S CLASSIFIED ADS GET RESULTS!
