KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The 1994-95 national FFA officer team was elected Nov. 12 at the 67th National FFA Convention. Lead ing the six-member team is nation al FFA president Corey Flournoy, 20, of Chicago, 111. Flournoy, the son of Barbara A. Flournoy, is a member of the Chicago Ag Sci ences FFA Chapter. His local adviser is Donald Krug. Flournoy’s supervised agricul tural experience program (SAE) consists of agricultural sales and services, home improvement and placement in an agribusiness. He will take a year long leave of absence from the University of Illinois, where he is majoring in agricultural economics, to serve his term as president. The national secretary is Travis Hagen, 20, of Chico, Calif. His parents are Lyman and Sue Hagen, and he is a member of the Chico FFA Chapter. Hagen’s local adviser is Claude Monlux. His SAE program consists of a sheep enterprise and placement in agricultural production and agri cultural sales. Jennafer Neufeld, 19, of Inman, Kan., is the central region vice president. She is the daughter of Fred and Connie Neufeld. A mem ber of the Inman FFA Chapter, Neufeld’s adviser is Lowell Ely. Her livestock SAE consists of a cow/calf breeding herd and show ing market steers. Neufeld will take a year’s leave of absence from Kansas State University, where she is a sophomore major ing in agricultural economics, to serve her term. The eastern region vice president is Lee Schroeder, 19, of Leipsic, Ohio. Schroeder, the son of Daniel and Nancy Schroeder, is a member of the Leipsic FFA Chapter. A sophomore at the University of Florida major ing in agricultural communica tions and sports physiology, she will take a year-long leave of absence to serve her term.
