NORTHEAST LIVE HEN REPORT.
NOVEMBER 8. 1994. FEDERAL
STATE
Prices were slightly higher on light type
fowl for this week’s slaughter. Offerings
hive slowed temporarily as producers hold
flocks for needed egg inventories. Demand
was moderate to good. Sales were too few
to report on heavy hens. Availability was
shoit to no better than in balance. Finished
sales were fairly active due to seasonal
buying and government purchase prog
rams. Undertone fully steady but cautious
on leghorns and at least steady on heavies.
