The Pennsylvania Beef Council, a producer-funded consumer marketing
organization, announces an employment opportunity for an Industry Relations
Manager, based out of our Harrisburg office.
Candidate will serve as a liaison between the Beef council and the cattle
industry through: serving as an information source on issues associated with the
checkoff; coordination of the Beef Council’s producer communications, beef
quality assurance and county promotion programs; and assist in implementing a
check off reporting and collection plan.
Candidate must have excellent oral and written skills to communicate well
with producers, livestock dealers, auction market operators and others to ensure
goodwill and collection compliance. A bachelor’s degree in an agriculturally
related field, or prior experience in some facet of the cattle or agricultural industry
is required.
