NORTH CORNWALL (Leba
non Co.) The Lebanon County
4-H program honored members
how have excelled in their project
activities, during its annual 4-H
achievement night held recently at
the Lebanon Valley Agricultural
Center, in North Cornwall
Township.
Allison Martin, of Lebanon,
received a $5OO 4-H agricultural
scholarship sponsored by Meri
dian Bank. The scholarship is pre
sented to 4-H members persuing a
college education, and is based on
scholastic achievement, communi
ty service, and 4-H activities.
Kathy Habecker, of Palmyra,
was also honored. Habecker was
the recepient of the $lOO Susan
Heilinger Werner Memorial
Award, presented to an outstand
ing member of the county 4-H
dairy club.
In addition, other awards were
made to the top achieving mem
bers, according to their respective
ages.
Susan Leed, Jennifer Wagner,
and Alex Werner were honored
among the 8-year-old members.
Andrea Leuenberger, Rebecca
Light, Jennifer Watson, and
Nathan Tice were honored among
the 9-year-old members.
Of the 10-year-old members,
honored were Natalie Funck, Ash
ley Morgan, Michael Ungemach,
and Nicole Platt.
Among the 11-year-olds, Elen
Leuenberger, Anna Light, Joseph
Tice and Justin Kettering were
honored.
Among the 12-year-olds, Amy
Habecker, Jennifer hain, Elizabeth
Howard, and Amanda Martin were
honored.
Jessica Watson was honored
among the 13-year-olds; Ann Get
tler among the 14-ycar-olds; Kathy
Habecker, Jon Hamish and Jody
Pierce among the IS-year-olds;
Amy Smith among the 16-year
olds; and Joyce Watson among
those 17.
The 4-H Extra Special Puppy
Club, whose members raise pup
pies for the Seeing Eye program,
were presented with the Outstand
ing Club Community Service
Award.

place yearling ewe from Ron &
Karen Ferguson of Frcdonia, PA.
This class winner sold for $4OO to
