A swine artificial insemination (AI) work shop will be held on Friday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the University of Mary land Eastern Shore Swine Research and Education Facility in Princess Anne, Md. The program will be repeated in its entirety on Saturday, December 10 at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonard town, Md. In addition to receiving class room instruction, workshop par ticipants will have the opportunity to collect semen from boars and artificially inseminate sows and gilts. The registration fee, which covers lunch and AI equipment, is $l5 per person. Registration is limited to 20 people at each loca tion.
