GLANCE: Prices were mostly unchanged
except brown medium prices in New Eng
land were unchanged to lower. The market
tone was mostly steady. Demand was light
to fairly good, and best where featured.
Supplies were barely adequate to fully
adequate, mostly adequate, and less avail
able than last week. Breaking stock sup
plies were adequate for the mixed demand,
and prices were unchanged. Live hen
markets were generally steady, and the ful
ly adequate volume of light hens continued
to receive limited interest from slaughter
plants.

erally unchanged except most yolk trades
were at the low side of the ranges. Demand
remained irregular, and was generally no
better than fair as buyers and sellers waited
for tome indication of stability in the entire
egg market Floor stocks were at least
adequate. Shell egg supplies were more
than adequate from regular sources. The
undertone was cautiously steady to weak.
