KILE Beef Show Results Reported
HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.)
The Keystone International
Livestock Exposition just closed
its doors on the 38th annual edi
tion, with 4,000 head of livestock
on hand for the competition and a
share of $217,369 in premium
money.
The annual show, held at the
16-acre Farm Show Complex, is
sponsored by the Pennsylvania
Livestock Association, Pennsyl
vania Department of Agriculture,
and Pennsylvania Farm Products
Show Commission.
The grand champion Slmmental female was shown by
Donald T. Virts, Purcellvllle, VA.
Cove Breeders, Pittsburg.
Pasture/Fariland Farm, Louisville, OH. In photo are Brian
Llebaugh, Jamie Boyer, Mike McPhee, Jennifer Fuller, and
Brett Barber.
There were 590 head of beef
entered in the Exposition, a com
petitive showcase for North
America’s top livestock breeders.
The Shorthorn Show was desig
nated as a Point Accumulation
Event and the Limousin Show
was a Medal of Excellence Show.
