Co.) The beautiful cow that
won supreme champion honors for
the past two years at the Lampeter
Fair dairy show, won again. Shown
by 12 year-old Austin Thomas, the
mature cow continues to catch the
eye of people who know cows and
was the grand champion of the
Holstein show.
The reserve grand champion of
Karen Hambrick has the grand champion Ayrshire.

Ask Greg Hess, who picked up
champion FFA sale lamb on Wed
nesday at the West Lampeter Fair.
“Buying quality lambs” is the rea
son Greg gave to taking home the
trophy for “Cleo,” his light heavy
weight Suffolk spring lamb at the
sheep show.

Lisa Reiff, 16, for her Suffolk
March lamb, a wether. Lisa, 16,
daughter of Lloyd and Laura Reiff,
Conestoga, swept the sheep fitting
and showmanship contests at the
fair. She plans to show at the state
Farm show in January.
In all, there were a total of 35
sheep and 14 exhibitors at the fair.
