The cow is a candidate for All-Maryland, to be decided on October 15 and 16. Her dam was grand champion in Frederick in 1992. CENTERVILLE (Lancaster Co.)—The Purina Mills, Inc., located on Hempland Road, was the location for an open house for customer appreciation. This open house was tied in with the announcement of the production of the one-millionth ton of feed that was produced at the mill and the 100-year anniversary of Purina Mills, Inc. “Many fanners who were here 12 years ago when we opened the .plant are back again today,” said Phil Jaquith, district sales mana ger. “And many of the people who work here grew up here.
