Lancaster Society 20 On September 1, Lancaster Farm Women #2O met at Zion United Church of Christ of New Providence with Helen Tout and Dorothy Eckman as hostesses. Following the refreshments, Helen read Psalm 121 for the Scripture and had a reading “Sunshine.” For the Roll Call each responded with “a house cleaning hint.” The treasurer had copies of the 1995 Budget. On October 1, the society will have a table of baked items and crafts at Towns Edge and help will be needed as well as items to be sold. Beginning in January 1995, the monthly meeting will be held the first Thursday of the month but will be in the forenoon, Dorothy Strieker, State President made pleasing remarks about her surprise birthday lun cheon that was held at Chef Alan’s by the executive board members of Berks County.
