career, Shawn Waltimyer took
home the banner and revolving
trophy awarded annually to the
York Fair’s junior market -steer
champion.
Waltimyer, 17, from Airville,
Shawn Waltlmyer nailed dowi
division market steer championship in his youth career
with his Malne-Angus crossbred. Presenting the champion
banner was Brad Bishard.

At New Holland
NEW HOLLAND (Lancaster
Co.) —The 1994 Chester County
4-H Swine Show and Sale was
held once again at New Holland
Sales Stable.
Judge Ken Winebark had a
challenging evening as 91 hogs
were entered. Grand champion
market hog of this year’s show
went to David Howe of
Downington. The 225-pound hog
was purchased by Leidy Meats
for $3/pound.
The reserve grand champion
Hatfield Quality Meats purchased the reserve grand champl*
on market hog shown by Mandy Stoltzfus for $2.25/pound.
was exhibited by first year mem
ber Mandy Stoltzfus of
Geigertown. The hog weighed
225 pounds and sold to Hatfield
Quality Meats for $2.25/pound.
The grand champion trio was
exhibited by Jonathan Howe of
Downingtown. The 685/pound
trio was purchased by New
Holland Sales Stable for $.85/
pound.
The reserve champion trio was
exhibited by Kasey McAllister of
