Lycoming 4-H Horse
The 4-H Horse and Pony mem
bers of Lycoming County have
had a busy month in August
Recendy 49 4-H members form
eight local clubs competed in the
local 4-H Horse roundup held at
the Williamsport Riding Club.
Classes for all ages and abilities
were held, including therapeutic
classes for handicapped members.
Those that placed at that level of
competition were able to move on
to the district show that was held
at the Grange Fairgrounds in
Centre Hall.
Thirty-three local members
were eligible to compete at the
district show in 66 classes. Those
winning the top awards at the Dis
trict Show are eligible to to on to
the State 4-H Horse Show to be
held in the Farm Show Complex
October 28-30.
