day. at the Somerset County
Junior Dairy Show when she was
selected supreme champion for
owner-breeder. Ben Miller of
Boswell.
Judge Obie Snider, of Imler,
praised her “good'size and out
standingness against the bigger
cows,” naming her senior champ
ion and grand champion of the
Holstein breed.

seen in the show ring. “This is the
whole idea of the show,” he said.
Snider called it a “wonderful
junior show. I expect to see really
great cattle when I come to Some
rset County," he said. “Somerset
County is known for its fine
cattle.”

the Holstein breeds reserve grand
champion and reserve senior
champion with Quaker Farm
Astro Jet Sue Ellen, bom Dec. 14,
1988. The breeder was Clarence
and Mark Miller.
Sire was Bridon Astro Jet and
dam was Quaker Farm Powcrpac
Miss Elly.
Matt Moyer’s 4-year-old Saints
Silver Candy was both senior
champion and grand champion in
the Jersey breed. Breeder was Eli

Shelby Moyer, Friedens, had
the best animal bred and owned in
the Jersey breed with Nu-Venture
Legend Charity.
The junior 2-year-old came
from sire Schultz Performing
Legend and dam, Nu-Venture
Duncan Carla. Breeder was Shel
by Moyer.
