very well in 4-H, having the
champion York gilt, champion
and reserve Yorkshire gilts, and
champion Hampshire gilt.
Leroy lives in Uppcrco with his
parents E. Leroy and Joan Schaef
er. The family farms approximate
ly 400 acres, growing all the feed
and buying the concentrate they
feed to their 27S head of Durocs,
Hampshires, Chester Whites,
Yorkshires, and Spots. Leroy
plans to show later this month at
the Eastern National Show in
Timonium and at the Keystone
International Livestock Expo in
Harrisburg, in October.
