A 118-pound Hampshire cross
bred lamb owned by Derek Rice
was selected as the champion mar
ket lamb of the fair. It was pur
chased by the West Milton State
Bank for $5 a pound. Derek is the
son of Thomas and Evelyn Rice of
Mifflinburg. The reserve cham
pion lamb was purchased by the
Mifflinburg Bank and Trust Com
pany for $4.75 a pound. The
97-pound lamb was owned by 4-H
member Shauna Wolfe of Mifflin
burg. She is the daughter of Wil
liam and Jean Wolfe.
