Taylor won the Extension-Industry Award, which is given to a member who exhibits the ability to inspire others, the skill to lead people to mastery of new and useful agronomic know ledge, and excellence in educa tional activities. Taylor, who came to the univer sity in 1985, has developed a multi-disciplinary crop production extension program. His work on the adoption of grain sorghum in Delaware rotations with soybeans has increased profitability and re duced disease and insect prob lems. He is at work on a plan for poultry manure management com bined with agronomic crop pro duction that won’t compromise yields or water quality. Taylor cre ated an award-winning series of 32 fact sheets, on soybean produc tion specifically for Delaware and he edits Soy News, a Delaware Soybean Board quarterly. Christina M. A handful of pivotal changes like shift-on-the go transmissions and hydraulics were separated by long stretches of relatively minor product inno vation. Magnum represents the last great revolution in tractor technology.” The 7200 Series includes five models the 7210, 7220, 7230. 7240 and 7250, ranging from 130 to 215 PTO horsepower. As a sophomore, Hamilton con ducted an independent study on nitrogen and phosphorus avail ability in composted and pelletiz ed poultry litter. The results of this study were presented at the 1993 NEBASA annual meeting. A manuscript based on her findings will be published in the Journal of Sustainable Agriculture.
